Parking.
Why oh why oh why
etc.
do councils they insist that you key in your registration number to a parking ticket
machine? Answer: Because they want to stop people from passing any unused time on their ticket to another person.
Now I don't know how widespread the "crime" of passing on a ticket has been but I always viewed it
as a gesture of goodwill, a favour to a stranger, an action of kindness in a world increasingly becoming void of manners.
What's wrong with these councils? They still get the money for the time that the parking
space is in use! Answer: they are nasty and malicious perverts of righteousness.
They install
these machines at great cost just to penalise goodwill.
They are actually over-charging based
on some pathetic council made up rule by a man (yes, man) in a suit with too much education and not enough sense, not enough
basic intellect, and no values.
And, oh yes, I don't know how much these elaborate machines
cost to introduce but they conveniently don't possess the technology to give you change. (And the prices are conveniently
set to encourage over-payment for those who don't have the exact £2.10p. A tax on not having the exact money!
Rant over.
