In April 2007 I ran workshops in conjunction with The Leicester Comedy Festival in Leicester, Derby and Nottingham. Each workshop series ending in a showcase.

Burton Youth Workshop (July 2006)

An afternoon workshop with Liz Stephens and myself aimed at people brand new to stand-up

Leicester Stands Up Spring Workshop 2006

Ran from April 4th to June 6th concluding with two showcases.

(How To Tell A Good Joke)

"A good class - the technique (presentation skils - timing - eye contact etc)" A participant.

"Excellent, made everyone feel relaxed and brought out unexpected ideas and thoughts" Another participant.

Northampton Youth Workshops (November 2005/January 2006)

Leicester Stand-up Writing Workshop (Autumn 2005)

This workshop was directed at people who'd done previous workshops and wanted to take their acts onwards and upwards and ran from Autumn 2005 into January 2006 as a lead up to the Leicester Comedy Festival. As with previous workshops, all participants had the opportunity to be included in shows for Leicester Stands-UP! that ran through the festival.

Lincoln Workshops (Autumn 2005)

A beginners/introduction to stand-up workshop that ran over 7-8 weeks and concluded with a show MCeed by Jim Smallman from the Leicester Spring Workshops of 2005. Two of the participants appeared as guests in Leicester Stands-Up 2006.
